The Book of Mormon doesn’t just teach about the fulness of the gospel, — these passages contain instructions and examples of administration. Within the Bible there is a lot we can infer, but only in the Book of Mormon do we find explicit instructions on how to perform these ordinances – from Christ himself.
For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. It was one of those epiphany moments for me. God granted in that moment that the word “fullness” — from his fullness — carry a fullness that was extraordinary in its effect on me.
I felt some measure of what the word really carries — the fullness of Christ. We cannot separate "the fullness of Christ" in this passage (Ephesians ) from the statement in Ephesiansthat the Christ is being fulfilled, and finds His fullness in the church.
When all the saints have come to the unity which is their destined goal, or in other words, to the full-grown man, the Christ will have been fulfilled. The Limits of being Filled with the Fullness of Christ.
Even though we are made in the image of God, we are not God, so our experience of God’s fullness does have limits. A.B. Simpson used the following analogy to illustrate the limits of being filled: Being filled with the fullness of God is like a bottle in the ocean.
Until we share a common mind – the mind of Christ – we will be compromised and at odds. Only as we share the mind of Christ and work together by the inspiration of his Spirit, will we ever be united in thought, word and deed. This is the goal for which Paul would have us strive.
He says: “For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him. But in Him, in Christ Jesus, "It pleased the Father that in Him should all plērōma" – all plenitude, all sufficiency, all adequacy, all omniscience and omnipotence – "all fullness should dwell in Him" – in the person of Christ Jesus, our Lord.
In the second chapter and the ninth verse of the same book, Paul wrote: "For in Him dwelleth. The church, this seems to say, is the “fullness” of Christ.
Christ is the One who fills. The fulness of Christ book is the fullness. Christ may fill all in all, but it is not the fullness until the church received the gift of Christ. Without the church, things are filled, but existence as a whole is not full.
That is a quite a heady thought. Questions. The book of Colossians tells us that the secret to a fruitful Christian life is found in the fulness of Christ book of Christ or “Christ in me.” In Jesus Christ we see the fullness of God.
The first half of Colossians speaks truth (doctrine) and the second half of Colossians tells us how to apply that truth (duty).
Christianity is more than just knowing. The Book of Mormon doesn’t just teach about the fulness of the gospel, — these passages contain instructions and examples of administration.

No other book has stirred within me so many emotions. No other book has had such an impact upon my personal, family, educational, professional, and now apostolic life. Because I know that the Book of Mormon is a true witness—another testament and a new covenant—that Jesus is the Christ, I know that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God.
In the book of Joshua you are at length in the land, and being in the land represents three things:— 1. Resurrection life with Christ. Heavenly union with Christ. Fulness in Christ: the measure of Christ. When you turn to these two New Testament letters, you see how much there is said about these three things.
For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians ,3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.
The apostle Paul in today’s passage assures us that this state of affairs will not last forever. Although many things seem chaotic to us, the Lord contains them all within the boundaries of His sovereign rule. This is the point of Ephesianswhich speaks of the fullness of Christ. On a more basic level, however, baptism for the dead is not discussed because it is not germane to the Book of Mormon's purpose: to teach the fulness of the gospel, which involves the basics of faith in Christ, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endurance to the end.
Paul found himself blind, a symbol of his spiritual blindness to what God was doing in Christ. Peter begged Jesus to depart, as he (Peter) was a sinful man. In each case, each man was reassured by God and then given a new mission. Or, rather, each man discovered, for the first time, the fullness of what their mission really was.
We declare that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, organized on April 6,is Christ’s New Testament Church restored. This Church is anchored in the perfect life of its chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ, and in His infinite Atonement and literal Resurrection.

Nephi 1, a Book of Mormon prophet living centuries before the coming of Christ, indicated that the fulness of the gospel would not always be on the earth.
In a vision of the Lord's future ministry, he saw that parts of the gospel would be altered and tampered with. In this sermon from Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones on Johnlisteners are told that the mark of a Christian is joy.

Read it and learn all that Christ is to His people, and all that they are to Him. The field of our meditation will mainly be in the book of Joshua and the letters to the Ephesians and Colossians. The fragment which is the key to this meditation is in Ephesians "Till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full-grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ".

THESE two texts make up a very beautiful sketch of the plan of salvation. Looking back, we are both truly amazed at what God has so graciously given to us in the Catholic Church: He has given Christ in all of His fullness — the fullness of His Word, the fullness of His sacraments, the fullness of worship, the fullness of His family, the fullness of vocation, and the fullness of salvation.
